Map of Dartmoor Stone Circles

The map below includes all of the known stone circles on Dartmoor. The map is centred to display the 8 stone circles (Grey Wethers has two circles) that form an arc on the northeastern periphery of the moor. The recently discovered Sittaford stone circle is displayed with a blue marker to emphasise that its addition adds to the curious arc formed by this group of stone circles. Reducing the scale of the map by clicking on the "-" twice will display the whole of Dartmoor allowing all the circles to be seen. Click on the markers for each stone circle to obtain a pop-up with a hyperlink to any further coverage on Prehistoric Dartmoor Walks.
