Notes

HER: Linear cairn cemetery aligned broadly north-south on the west side of Mardon Down and comprising some nine cairns. One of the cairns was excavated in the 18th century producing ashes, charcoal and sherds of pottery, although which cairn is uknown.. See individual records for more details.

HER: Ash, charcoal and pottery was found in one of the cairns on Mardon Down when it was excavated in the late 18th century. Unfortunately it is not known which cairn. See HER findspot MDV8290
