Walkhampton and Yes Tor Bottom Settlements

This site is featured on the Princetown 1: Merrivale Complex & Walkhampton Settlements walk. The photos are of settlements and views along the route of the Princetown railway and include the Yes Tor Bottom Settlements (SX56747286 Butler Vol. 3. Map 44, 2). The Yes Tor Bottom settlement includes numerous well preserved huts, several within an irregular enclosure. The site was excavated in 1897 by Burnard and Baring-Gould.

These photos were taken on the 11^th April 2010.
