DEC Report (1898): No. 3. Small barrow very much ruined. The internment hole in the "calm" was 18 inches square and 12 inches deep. It contained nothing but soil.Newman Cairn 12
Newman: Three small cairns are shown on the english heritage survey of 2003 to the southeast of the stone circle on Langstone Moor. The third cairn is to the west of the two scheduled cairns. Map object based on this source.
NB. The HER entry says eastern cairn of group of 3 - the record also quotes Newman who correctly says western.
There is some potential confusion on the Grinsell records and Butler links to PET 40a, 41a. However, it looks likely that Pet 41a is a fourth lone cairn to the west see: Langstone Moor 4 Reported Cairn
